At HaiSoft, we are proud of our commitment to the environment. Our comprehensive approach aims to reduce our carbon footprint in all aspects of our business, from energy consumption to fleet management, including our employees' travel habits and our equipment management policy.

Our commitment starts with the very source of our energy. For heating our offices and powering our computers, we have chosen 100% renewable electricity, supplied by La Bellenergie. This decision is part of our desire to actively support the energy transition.
The green electricity we use is produced from renewable sources, including hydro, solar, wind and biomass. This choice allows us to significantly reduce our environmental impact while contributing to the development of clean energy. La Bellenergie guarantees the renewable origin of our electricity through a system of Guarantees of Origin certificates, ensuring that for every kilowatt-hour we consume, an equivalent amount of renewable energy is fed into the grid. La Bellenergie also holds the VertVolt label, awarded by ADEME (the French environment agency), which guarantees that suppliers buy all the electricity they supply to consumers directly from renewable energy producers, providing concrete support to the sector.

Our environmental commitment also extends to our datacentre infrastructure. The energy used in our datacentres to power our servers comes from EDF, a supplier that has demonstrated its commitment to reducing CO2 emissions. In 2024, EDF maintained remarkably low average emissions of less than 10g of CO2 per kWh.
With an annual consumption of around 80MWh for our IT operations, our CO2 emissions for 2024 amount to just 800kg. This figure shows how effective our strategy to reduce the carbon footprint of our digital operations has been, while maintaining the quality and reliability of our services.

Mobility is a crucial aspect of our environmental strategy. Since 2024, we have taken a significant step by converting half of our vehicle fleet to electric. This transition particularly concerns our technical intervention vehicles, ensuring that our most frequent business trips are carried out in an environmentally friendly manner.
To power these vehicles, we have again chosen La Bellenergie as our renewable electricity supplier. This decision ensures that not only do our vehicles emit no CO2 during use, but also that the energy that powers them comes from clean and sustainable sources

Our location in the heart of Orléans plays a crucial role in our sustainable mobility strategy. Most of our employees have adopted eco-friendly modes of transport for their daily commutes. Many use our company electric vehicles or opt for public transport, taking advantage of the city's well-developed network.
Because our offices are close to the city centre, many employees can also walk to work, further reducing our collective carbon footprint. This approach to urban mobility is fully in line with the City of Orléans' efforts to promote sustainable transport.

Our environmental commitment extends to the management of our IT equipment. We have adopted a maximum-reuse approach for both our servers and our desktop computers. Rather than systematically replacing hardware, we favour improving and upgrading existing equipment. This strategy allows us to maintain optimal performance while significantly reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing and recycling electronic equipment.
We have also introduced a strict policy to reduce paper use. Digitising our internal processes has drastically reduced printing: a single ream of paper often lasts more than a year, reflecting our commitment to reducing waste and preserving natural resources.

HaiSoft is deeply rooted in the economic and social fabric of Orléans. Wherever possible, we work with local partners, paying particular attention to responsible, human-scale businesses that share our values. This approach not only supports the local economy but also lets us work with partners who understand our challenges and our vision of an ethical and sustainable business.
Our commitment also extends to supporting local charities that work with vulnerable people. We are proud to contribute to the work of three remarkable organisations:
- Le Refuge, which helps LGBT+ young people in distress
- Les Enraciné, a charity that supports children in the care of child welfare services (Aide Sociale à l'Enfance)
- the Kerlevenez house of Village Saint Joseph, which welcomes people in difficulty in a warm, family-like setting
These partnerships reflect our wish to play an active part in improving life in our community.
We are convinced that the well-being of our employees is essential to the success of the company. That is why we have introduced an annualised 32-hour working week, giving our team a better balance between work and personal life.
We also continually invest in improving our premises and working conditions, creating an environment where everyone can thrive and be productive.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating a workplace where every team member can flourish and give their best.
